Thomas J. Lambert, MD
I chose dermatology because helping patients feel good about their outward appearance can have a tremendous impact on their lives. To me, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing the positive health effects, both physical and emotional, that expert treatment and compassionate care can achieve.
Dr. Thomas J. Lambert received his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences
Center School of Medicine in 2006, graduating first in his class. In his striving for excellence, Dr.
Lambert assisted in numerous research projects and was a contributing author of multiple medical
articles. Upon completing his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, he
committed himself to the care and well-being of the patients of Dermatology Associates.
Although Dr. Lambert is originally from Dallas, his wife was born and raised in Tyler. He enjoys
fishing, boating and tennis — all ideal hobbies for East Texas. Needless to say, they are both very excited
to be near their families again — making Dermatology Associates of Tyler a perfect place for them to
put down roots.
Dr. Lambert understands all too well the challenges faced by those with skin conditions, having
witnessed family members struggling with similar issues. It´s this keen insight into what patients
endure — and the benefit that dermatology can have on their quality of life — that drives him.
